How to improve your energy by getting better sleep. It is important to create sleep rituals by doing the same behavior each night before sleep. This lets the body begin to relax and prepare to go to sleep each night. Turn off all of your electronic equipment including TVs cells phones and computers. Dark rooms promote melatonin production in the brain which is required for deep sleep. Sleeping in a cool room allows the body to sleep better. Do not eat or drink 3 hours before bed, especially alcohol. It causes the body to wake several times during the night preventing restful sleep. Changing your sleep patterns helps give more restful and deeper sleep.
