How do we figure out how to set health goals for ourselves? We have to start by identifying where we are right now. In the beginning of the year I created a checklist to help you assess your health in every area of your life. Have you ever considered that? When you are filled with energy, you are ready to take on the world. When you don’t have energy you can’t get out of bed to go to work or school or take care of your responsibilities, right? When plants have strong roots they grow tall and strong! They grow strong because they are planted in soil that nourishes them and helps them grow. The soil is the environment that nourishes the seed and allows the plant to grow.
Do you have an environment that nourishes you so you can create strong roots? Our environment is what we eat, how much sleep we get, exercising our body, using our mind in positive and creative ways, the people that are in our lives, our activities and projects and hopes and dreams. These are the soil that nourishes us and it is all considered in our health. The soil is the base from which the rest our lives grow and bloom.
