Often times when people think about renewal, they think about detox. Since this month’s theme is Renew, and live a Sweet Life, I thought I would spend some time talking about one of the most powerful ways to renew: Detoxification!
Detoxing is a definite way to completely renew your energy, vitality and health. If you focus on the holistic detox program, which includes a balanced plan of action, then it can be a surefire way put you back on the right track towards greater energy and vitality.
The key to a successful detox is to create a plan that you can continue with and enhance after the detox is completed. It is not just about taking some supplements for a few days and dropping a few pounds, only to gain them right back (plus a few more) two weeks later. That is absolutely what you do NOT want to do!
A healthy detox changes the way your body is operating at the cellular level. It improves your energy but also improves your health. Every program we create with you includes a detox because when you clear away the junk, your body can heal much quicker. Here is a great example...
I had a patient that came in because she was tired of having uncontrolled diabetes. She was also in so much physical pain that she had to move around her work with the aid of a mechanical scooter. She came in because she was sick and tired of being sick and tired. After 2 months of working with us, including a detoxification plan, she lost 20 pounds, is completely off her insulin shots and had just come back from a work conference where she walked 2 miles pain free.
What an incredible recovery! This happened because the first step to true healing is to remove the obstacles. Detoxification does just that for many people and it opens the gateway to health.
