How are you connecting with your health

This month’s theme is culture, community and connection are your one sweet life.

Culture is a set of the customary beliefs, social forms, and material traits of a racial, religious, or social group.  Connection is one of the greatest characteristics of culture.  Connection is the place where people’s everyday habit create their culture.

One of my favorite ways to connect is to take a walk in nature.  It is even more fun when I am able to walk with a friend. This is one of my favorite habits.  During the holiday weekend, I ended up walking every evening with one of my friends. It was an opportunity to catch up and exercise at the same time.

I am proud of the culture of health and exercise that I have created in my life and in my practice.  In my friendships, I have created a culture of people that are willing to do physical exercise with me to make sure that I get exercise into my life and in addition to the support of my friends.  I walk with my 4-year old niece and my 74-year old dad. It doesn’t matter the age person. What matters is that we make it a fun opportunity to connect.

If you are ready to create a healthy culture in your life and with your family, then come learn more about how we teach our patients through mentorship and coaching.  Our practice is a community of people that enjoy learning how to stay healthy together.
