Blueberry Antioxidant Blast Smoothie

There is new research showing that blueberries are not damaged when they are frozen. This is great news for people like me who love making smoothies all year around.  In addition to high antioxidant content, blueberries help balance blood sugar levels making them perfect for all chronic diseases, including diabetes.  The twist in this smoothie is the green tea which supports proper elimination, detoxification and anti-aging.

1 cup of frozen blueberries

1 frozen banana

½ cup of almond nut butter

1 cup almond milk

1 cup of green tea

*½ teaspoon of agave optional

Add all ingredients to a blender and combine until smooth, about 1 minute.
