Whenever you start a new project or habit you are at a new beginnings and it takes time to get into the swing of things. New beginning are opportunities to start over or to try something new. New beginnings are an opportunity to make a new choice or move in a new direction. You have a new beginning every day of your life.
During our cleanse I want you to have the experience of intending to create a new beginning with your health habits. I want to you to take time to find a new habit of relaxation or stress management in every day of your life. The reason why we are doing this cleanse for 21 days is to create new healthy habits that you can use for the rest of the year and the rest of your life.
Each day I ask that you set aside 10-15 minutes to relax and reflect on the theme for the day. I will call this time your centering exercise. These are designed to help you reduce stress and increase your health.We will have a centering exercise that consists of 5 minutes of relaxation breathing and 10 minutes of reflective writing.
I ask that you choose the same time each day if possible to do your centering exercises. For example first thing in the morning before you start you day is a great time to do this exercise. Or perhaps every evening before you go to sleep. You choose the time that works the best in your schedule and honor that time to do the exercise. Notice if you start to feel different just by giving yourself permission to take 10-15 minutes out of your schedule to relax and reflect on your personal needs and wants for your life and your health.
