Horchata is a Costa Rican smoothie made with oatmeal and it is such a treat. I made a version of Horchata filled with fiber to support heart health and to balance blood sugar. This smoothie is perfect after any workout.
1/2 cup of oatmeal, cooked
1 cup of rice milk
1/2 banana, peeled
1-2 teaspoons of black strap molasses
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4-1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Add all ingredients to a blender and combine until smooth, about 1 minute.
