How would you like to spend your money this year?

One of the things I love most about our community is that we share information with one another.  It is a great way to stay connected to important information, about all areas of health and wellness, without having to read every article published.

Many of us think that our health is priceless… but what does that really mean?  Simply, it means that if we don’t think about the prices associated with our health, we end up with sticker shock when we have to make decisions about foods, gym memberships, retreats, supplements, massages etc., when it comes time to make a change.  Often times we might consider caring for ourselves and our health as too expensive and, as a result, not take the actions necessary to insure good health.

Now there is a new issue that many are dealing with and that is the price of prescription medications.  Prices are rising faster than any other segment of health care, including home visits. Medication costs for treating common disease like diabetes, high cholesterol or asthma are skyrocketing. This is creating financial hardship for many individuals and families.  Does this sound familiar? What is worse, in my opinion, is that prescription medications only mask the symptoms of problems. They don’t treat the underlying cause, so it creates a vicious cycle of having to take them for life because they are not solving the problem.

One of our community members shared this article from the Washington Post: Why prescription drug prices have skyrocketed and why the government needs to take action. Click here to read the full article online.

Why did I decide to share it with you?  Because people get inspired to make change for so many different reasons.  Perhaps the costs of your medications is causing you to look for real solutions to your health problems, so you don’t have to continue to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars each year on your health care.  Or perhaps you are tired of being chained to taking your medications each and every day.

You can become inspired to change your health and behaviors so you don’t have spend all of your money on medications. Get empowered for your health and, instead, spend that money on vacation or whatever you want!

This month’s theme is inspiration makes a sweet life.  Get inspired and change your health and your life!

Let us help you understand how to do it in a natural way that can help reduce or eliminate medications AND empower you to have better health at the same time!
